Claim
God's control in my life, and admit that I am powerless to control
my tendency to do the wrong thing and my life is unmanageable. |
|
Openly
admit that God exists, that He loves and cares for me, and that
He has the power to restore me. |
|
Mindfully
commit my life and will to God's merciful care and control. |
|
Frankly
focus on my faults, confess them to God, myself and to another
person I trust. |
|
Obey
and submit to any changes God wants me to make in my life. |
|
Reevaluate
all my relationships; offer forgiveness to those who have hurt
me and make amends for harm I have done to others when possible,
without expecting anything in return. |
|
Target
a daily time with God for self-examination, Bible reading, and
prayer so that I come to know God's will for my life and gain
the power to do it. |
|
Sacrifice
myself to be used by God to bring this Good News to others,
both by my life example and by my words. |
